WHERE ARE YOUR ROOTS?

The difference between a TASTY meal and a NASTY one comes down to two things: the right ingredients and proper preparation. You can prepare per instruction, but if you have substandard ingredients or omit a key ingredient, the final product will be less than satisfactory. Likewise, the right amounts of the freshest ingredients prepared incorrectly will still result in a disappointing dinner! Healthy Christian growth often comes down to the same two things: the right INGREDIENTS and proper PREPARATION. Using a highly interactive format, we’ll look at a different key INGREDIENT for growth each week and how we can most effectively combine and PREPARE those ingredients as we “walk them out” in our lives, so that our faith is most enjoyable, highly fruitful and a delight to others around us!

In the culinary world, experienced chefs understand the delightful results of properly paring and combining ingredients. One ingredient enhances another. The delicate blend of key ingredients in our faith journey are equally important.

What benefit is WORSHIP without a RELATIONSHIP with God?

What power does PRAYER have apart from God’s WORD?

What is the WORD without the revelation of the HOLY SPIRIT?

What impact will ANY of these make if we’re not in RELATIONSHIP
with others to INFLUENCE them?

What basis do we have for any of these ingredients to work in
our lives if our IDENTITY in Christ is unknown?

Psalm 1:3 Says that we can be like “trees planted by streams of water yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not whither and who prospers in whatever they do.” The right ingredients in the right place bears FRUIT!

Though we won’t be serving up a full-course meal each Wednesday night, light refreshments, finger foods, great fellowship, a few new friends and life changing TRUTH will always be on the menu!
